Netherlands Instıtute for Higher Education(NIHAnkara)
NIHA will contribute to the internationalization of the Higher Education in the Netherlands by acting as effective promoter and intermediary.
It is understood that the work areas, objectives and target groups have been chosen in such a way that NIHA can fulfill its mission.
NIHA aims to promote the internationalization of the Dutch Higher Education by:
- actively supporting the cooperation between the Netherlands and Turkey in the field of Higher Education;
- supporting and supplying the direct cooperation between institutes of Higher Education in both countries, including the introduction and exchange of professors and students, the acquisition of scholarships and the promotion of scientific research;
- Recruiting highly talented Turkish students to continue their study in the Netherlands or to start scientific research activities in the Netherlands.
In addition to the main activities of supply and acquisition NIHA will carry out other activities as well, provided that there are sufficient finances and facilities to do so. E.g. requests from the government, institutes or companies, which would like to make use of the networks and knowledge of NIHA. Besides the credit facilities it is of high importance that this kind of activities will not damage the image of NIHA.

Association of Universities in The Netherlands (VSNU)
All of the 14 Dutch research based universities are members of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (Vereniging van Universiteiten - VSNU).
The VSNU represents the interests of these universities in the fields of research, education, knowledge transfer, funding and personnel policy. This includes signing the Collective Employment Agreement (CAO) with university personnel on the universities' behalf.
The four basic tasks of the VSNU are to:
- promote the universities’ common interests vis-a-vis the Dutch cabinet, politicians, government and civil society organisations.
- provide a forum for discussion through which common standpoints can be developed.
- provide services and information.
serve as an employers’ organization, participating in discussions with the government and employees’ organisations regarding employment conditions in the university sector (comprising approximately 52,000 employees)

Netherland Organization For International Cooperation in Higher Education
(Nuffic)
Nuffic is the Netherlands organization for international cooperation in higher education.
As an independent, non-profit organization based in The Hague, the Netherlands, Nuffic supports internationalization in higher education, research and professional education in the Netherlands and abroad, and helps improve access to higher education worldwide.
Our most important contract partners are the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture & Science and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We play an important role in fostering international cooperation in higher education between the Netherlands and other countries.

Turkije Instituut
The Turkije Instituut (Turkey Institute) was founded in 2007 in The Hague and aims to increase knowledge of Turkey among a broad Dutch audience. The Turkije Instituut is an independent NGO and is funded by Dutch multinationals and the municipality of The Hague.
